What to do at the first logon

Change VPS Administrator default login password
- Log into WebSitePanel
- Click Virtual Private Servers icon
- Click the listed VPS Host name
- Click Configuration tab
- Under Software, click Change for Administrator password

or

- Remotely (RDP) log into VPS > click Start > right click My Computer > click Manage
- Under Computer Management (Local) > expand System Tools > expand Local Users and Groups > click into Users > right click the administrator user > click Set Password

Change VPS Administrator default username
- Remotely log into VPS > click Start > right click My Computer > click Manage
- Under Computer Management (Local) > expand System Tools > expand Local Users and Groups > click into Users > right click Administrator > Rename > type in new Administrator username

P/s : Please do not make any modification to Windows user "exabytes" as it is a backup Windows user for our support purpose.

Run Windows Update
- On the server click > Start > All Programs > Windows Update > choose Express > click Install Updates (if there is any available update)

Schedule Windows Updates
- On the server click > Control Panel > Automatic Updates
- Selecting Automatic is recommended for Windows to download the recommended updates and install for your VPS. Please be noted that it will automatically reboot the VPS if it is required after Windows updates

Install Additional Application through Microsoft Web Platform Installer
- Remotely log into VPS > click Start > All Programs > Microsoft Web Platform Installer

P/s : More VPS resource is needed when installing more applications or services.

Checking CPU and RAM usage
- Right click on the Taskbar > Click Task Manager > Click Performance tab
